The QPC QBeam Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connectors feature non-contact fiber optic lens system, fully protected behind anti-reflective coated and a durable BK-7 window. The lenses expand the optical beam significantly, improving alignment and reducing the impact of dust, debris, vibration, and other environmental factors. Since the optical surfaces do not make physical contact during use, the QBeam connectors offer exceptional durability, supporting over 5,000 mating cycles for a long-lasting interconnect solution.
QBeam connectors are hermaphroditic, enabling multiple plug-to-plug assemblies to be combined, allowing system length extensions with ease. They are available in four-channel multimode fiber configurations and are commonly used in Military and Defense applications.
